The kids and I went to the park today from noonish til 4pm. Here is what we saw:
Lots of couples making out like their ship was going down, well behaved dogs off leashes, lots of folks day drinking, 4 unrelated groups of tight rope walkers, unicycles, people practicing juggling, people jogging, playing soccer and American football, walking, playing guitar.
I did not see one single person on a cell phone for any reason. For all I know mine was the only one in the park today. I saw no one who appeared to be in a hurry and I saw zero parents raise their voices at their children.
It was a lovely, relaxing time.
Awe, did Abe get a dog? Or just make a dog friend at the park? Either way too cute! Also, I except you to be a proficient tight rope walker when you get back to Inola! :)
ReplyDeleteI had no idea tight rope walking was such a popular hobby here! Crazy! That was just a random puppy someone had at the park! It tore all 3 of my kids' clothes tho!! But abe was ALL about the puppies there!!
DeleteLooks relaxing Nadine nice weather. Puppies and A seem strange to me. Glad he liked the pup. Would be nice if there was a cell free zone here. Just enjoy nature.
