Just Because

For Grammy, who I know misses her grandsons, and also because nothing much exciting happens on Wednesdays.
Beckett says he misses his family and friends, he likes school better in Inola, but he likes it here, too, just not as much. He loves living in the city he says and he some day would like to be a farmer in a big city (I pressed him on how this would work and he has a whole elaborate undergound farming plan and I am his mama and so of course I think his plan will work and he will end world hunger).
Myer still loves everything all the time, except the 10 minutes of the day when he hates it. He LOVES being in school 4 days a week. He wasn't ready in August but during the course of the year and thanks to Ms. Amber he has fallen in love with school and wishes he never had to leave. I am happy for him that he gets to go more often here. He is so ready for kindergarten.
Abe likes being in France because he "just wants to go see some stuff I have not seen before". Me, too, kid. We got him a stroller and he is in a strange place where he knows those are for babies and he wants to be a big boy but he also doesn't want to walk far so he loves the stroller. He has matured a lot here and for the first time in his life has stopped waking up and getting in our bed during the night. He goes into school with no fits and he eats vegetables at lunch without complaint (but he manages to get the pretty young British teacher to feed it to him).
They get to wear costumes to school Friday (last day before their two week Spring Break).
